Despite efforts to provide an excellent program with inspiring speakers, panelists and moderators and a lively networking opportunity in a comfortable and safe environment, the organization of FUSION has decided to postpone the FUSION event on November 24, 2021.
Although the MediaPlaza location is a safe location, certified to comply with all measures imposed by the Dutch government, and although most speakers, panelists and moderators as well as participants indicated their willingness to participate, a significant number of participants also appeared to be to be cautious as social distancing and the use of mouth masks are not strictly required.
As organization, we want to provide a comfortable and safe environment and have taken these concerns to heart. We therefore first considered a series of additional measures. Unfortunately, when discussing the additional measures, some of our speakers and panellists have subsequently encountered new travel restrictions, resulting in an unacceptable deterioration in the quality of the programme.
As a result, it was no longer possible to guarantee an excellent program in a safe environment and the decision was taken to postpone the event to early 2022.
