Institutional membership is intended for academic knowledge institutions, the employers of the individual (ordinary) members. With their contributions, these institutions contribute significantly to the activities that ACCSS undertakes.

Individual membership
Individual membership is designed for academic cybersecurity researchers, granting them voting rights and eligibility for board positions. There are two categories of individual membership:
Ordinary Individual Membership Category 1: €25 per association year
Senior researchers or permanent employees working at Dutch academic institutions, or emeritus until the end of PhD right.
Ordinary Individual Membership Category 2: €10 per association year
Junior researchers or temporary employees working at Dutch academic institutions.
Termination of the membership needs to be done before December 1st of the ongoing year.
Membership Criteria:
Employed by or permanently associated with an institution for scientific education or research in the Netherlands.
Engaged in cybersecurity research and/or education within this context, irrespective of scientific discipline.
Association Year:
First Year: October 1, 2021, to December 31, 2022.
Second Year: January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023.
Invoicing occurs at the end of the year.
Admission Process:
The ACCSS board will decide on membership applications within thirty (30) days of receiving a request, providing reasons for their decision.
Upon acceptance, members will receive an invoice for the contribution.
