Her research interests are inapplied cryptography and embedded systems security, looking into security and privacy of embedded (crypto) devices such as smartcards, mobile phones and IoT devices. Furthermore she works on secure implementations of cryptography, i.e. secure against side-channel and fault injection attacks, nowadays mostly on post-quantum cryptosystems. She also works in the intersection of AI and hardware security, and specifically, how one could use side-channel analysis and fault injection techniques to learn secrets from neural net implementations.
