Dr. Marten van Dijk

Centrum voor Wiskunde en Informatica

 

Marten van Dijk is groepsleider Computerbeveiliging bij het Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI). Hij heeft meer dan 20 jaar ervaring in zowel de industrie (Philips Research en RSA Laboratories) als de academische wereld (MIT en UConn). Zijn werk is erkend door de IEEE & ACMA. Richard Newton Technical Impact Award in Electronic Design Automation, 2015, en hij heeft verschillende onderscheidingen ontvangen van topconferenties over beveiliging en computerarchitectuur. Voordat hij bij het CWI kwam, was hij hoogleraar bij de afdeling Electrical and Computer Engineering van de University of Connecticut. Hij behaalde zijn Ph.D. diploma van de Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. Marten heeft brede interesses en verzamelde ervaring in allerlei soorten beveiligingsonderzoek, zoals veilige processorarchitecturen, hardwarebeveiliging inclusief fysieke niet-kloneerbare functies, cloudbeveiliging, volledig homomorfe encryptie, Oblivious RAM, universele configureerbaarheid.
